Key deadlines for race registration, participation and celebration

DAYS UNTIL RACE DAY!
May, 2013
May, 06: Extra Medals Order Deadline

Last day to order extra race medals (remember your dedicated van drivers)!

May, 10: Last Day for Free Additions/Substituions

After this day, adds/subs are $18 per person. (all participants must sign online waiver by this date to avoid the fee)

June, 2013
June, 17: Volunteer Registration Begins

Check your team roster for the 'Add Volunteer' button (if one team members is located within a 100 mile radius of Portland, you will be prompted).

June, 20: Last Day to Order/Update T-Shirts

Last day to order extra race shirts and update sizes.  Any t-shirts submitted after this date will receive remaining sizes that are available.

July, 2013
July, 01: Teams must have minimum of 8 members on roster

All teams must have a minimum of 8 members signed up by this date in order to participate.

July, 01: 8 Members of Team must have completed mandatory Race Pace Survey

A minimum of 8 team members must complete the Race Pace Survey by this date in order to receive a start time.

July, 17: Deadline to makes changes to Volunteer Positions

As of July 17th, Volunteers will not be able to make changes to their postions.  This includes:

-Change Job date or tim

-Change or substitutie volunteers online

July, 18: Race Pace Update

Last day to update team's race pace times. 

July, 18: Unassigned volunteers will be randomly assigned to open positions.

Volunteers who have completed the online training and have not selected a volunteer position will be randomly assigned to one.  These random job assignments CANNOT BE CHANGED once assignements are issued.  

July, 18: Team Name Change

Deadline to update team name.

July, 25: Packet Hold Issued for Local Teams with less than 3 Volunteers

All local teams with less than three volunteers will not be able to pick up their race packets at Packet Pick Up.  Packets will be held until three volunteers have been confirmed.  

 

July, 27: Start Times Posted

Out of town team start times posted to teams' roster page.

July, 27: Packet Pick Up

9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Captain's Meetings at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

We encourage teams to abide by the following schedule:

9:00am-11:30am

(HTC team #s 1-500, PTC Walk # 2001-2200, all High School Challenge)

11:30am-2:00pm

(HTC team #s 501+, PTC Walk # 2201+ )

August, 2013
August, 23: Race Day!

Late adds/subs increase to $25 per person

 

August, 24: Portland To Coast Awards Ceremony

5:00pm 'Best Of' recognition and announcement of overall winning HTC team with leaded glass engraved trophy presentation.

5:15-6:40pm PORTLAND TO COAST AWARDS (WALK & HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE)

August, 25: Hood To Coast Awards Ceremony

9:30am HOOD TO COAST Awards Ceremony (in front of main stage on beach) Sunday.
