REGISTRATION

The Hood To Coast Relay has filled its team limit for the last 18 years, and on "Opening Day" for the last 11 years! HTC received well over 1,000 team entries from mail post-marked on "Opening Day."   The Portland To Coast Walk Relay has reached its limit of 400 teams as well as The Portland To Coast High School Challenge!

GENERAL INFO

2009 Registration began on October 15, 2008. ONLY Hood To Coast entries postmarked on October 15th were considered.  Any HTC entries submitted EARLIER did not qualify for the lottery.  The field is drawn on a first come first serve basis, beginning with entries postmarked October 15th.

ONLY SUBMIT ONE ENTRY PER TEAM TO REGISTER. The Team Captain entry form must be entirely completed correctly and payment received in full. 

Any team not accepted will receive a 'Declined' email letter and have their check voided. 'Confirmation' emails were sent on Nov. 17.  'Declined' emails were sent on Nov. 11. Once confirmed, all teams are non-refundable, non-transferable.

All registered Team Captains (who complete and mail a Team Captain entry form) receive an email invitation.  This email provides a link to officially register via the online roster and enables Team Captains to invite teammates to join and register on their team.

REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

When registering, teams and participants agree to the following:

• HTC teams must be able to complete the course within the 31 ½ hour time limit (averaging 9 ½ minute per mile pace). No time limit for PTC events.
• Each team with even one member considered within the "local" radius is prompted to provide (3) mandatory Volunteers (within the online roster).
• Teams must have a minimum of (8) members and a maximum of (12) unless specific permission is given by HTC/PTC Office.
• All team members that participate on race day must be officially registered ('09 Team Captain entry form mailed to office, additional teammates register online).
• Once accepted and confirmed, the fee is non-refundable and the team is non-transferable.

The entry fee (once accepted and confirmed) is non-refundable and the team is non-transferable. Checks that bounce put your team in jeopardy of being replaced!

Please make ONE check payable to "Hood To Coast Relay" for the full team fee:

             Hood To Coast Relay : $1140 ($95 per runner)

             Portland To Coast Walk Relay: $888 ($74 per walker) until March 31, 2009

                                                                $912 on/after April 1, 2009

             PTC High School Challenge Relay : $100

Use of the Hood To Coast or Portland To Coast trademark name, service mark, or images in promotional, advertising, instructional materials, or on other web sites, products, labels, or packaging may be prohibited, unless expressly authorized.
