All participant fundraising that results from the OfficeMax Hood To Coast, Integra Telecom Portland To Coast Walk, and OHSU Sports Medicine High School Challenge directly benefit the American Cancer Society. Your donations help fund patient services, prevention and early detection education, advocacy, rehabilitation and peer support programs right here in Oregon. Additionally, you will be contributing to funding important cancer research. The donations you raise provide breast cancer patients with peers, send children with cancer to camp, provide cancer patients and their families with a place to stay while undergoing treatment at a hospital away from home, and supply other life-saving information to support cancer patients during their time of need. The American Cancer Society thanks all participants, families, and friends for their generous support. In 2009, Hood To Coast and Portland To Coast Relay participants and sponsors raised a record $360,000 for The American Cancer Society!!! |
